Blocked tear duct
1. Tears are produced by the lacrimal gland (above the eye).
2. They drain through small openings (puncta) in the eyelids.
3. Then pass through the canaliculi → lacrimal sac → nasolacrimal duct,
and finally into the nose.
When the nasolacrimal duct is blocked, tears cannot drain properly and overflow onto the face.
